Fertilzer/Pesticides Harm?

i have my yard treated every 6 weeks for insects weeds, and of fertilizer. I was wondering if this will harm the chickens that Im about to get? Thanks

What do you use on the lawn? You are probably better switching to bird-safe organic fertilizers and pesticides (when needed) than using standard products like Ortho. Your plants will be healthier for it, too.

I bet it will if they free range. My husband as a child when out and played in the yard after they treated the lawn and he almost died, spent three weeks in the ICU unit, it shut down his kidneys. We use way to many chemicals in this country, sorry just my opinion. so yes keep the girls away from the treated areas for a few weeks and after several rain storms should dilute the stuff
