I had found a chicken wondering around on a farm. Several of it's other buddies are now soup. I already have three laying hens will this hen lay also? Today one of my kids found a tiny egg like the ones from when out other 3 first started laying. I have had this hen, aka Carla , for a few months now. My hens are like my kids.

Yes, it should lay. Be sure it has calcium water and plenty of food. Also make sure it's not getting bullied or attacked by other chickens since it is new. Once she gets settled, she'll probably lay.
 
Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Do you know about how old she is, if you have had her for a couple of months, if she is four months or better it could be hers. Unless they are really old or sick, most hens will lay at least some, how well/often they lay depends on their breed, age, health etc. Pullet eggs are usually smaller than then what they will lay as adults. It could also be a wind or fart egg from one of your older girls, they are usually tiny eggs that don't have yolks in them.
