FFA hatching!! Quail are reproducing! WOOT!!!

Hey Jen, I just realized that the 16th is a holiday? So the mail won't run that day. Do you want the eggs sent like Wednesday, so they'll (hopefully) get there on Saturday? I just don't want you to be disappointed that none of them show up. Plus, if they are sent Friday, they would probably sit at the P.O. Sunday and Monday, instead of just one day. Just a thought, let me know what you think.

Yeah that might be a good idea. However in light of the poor post offices we have heard about on here MARCELINE'S post office is AWESOME. I called to check this AM to see if I had any eggs and they checked and said no, then about 30 minutes later they called me back and said YES YES YES there are eggs here. They did not HAVE to do that. I love my post office!

Honestyl, If they show up Tuesday, that is ok, I might just see if he, the ag instructor, wants to wait one more day to set the eggs. I have set the ones I got Friday and today already because a week is just too long to have them sitting here. LOL. We can always start up another incubator. LOL!!! I am incubator poor you know!

HEE HEE I also went to a sale today and got 14 turkey eggs to add to the hatch! WOO HOO!!!

I got my eggs in the mail today. It was really funny, my normal postal worker wasn't there since it was a Saturday. The guy looked the box over several times then said "so......you REALLY have eggs in this box?". I smiled and said "yes, precious little pre-hatched chickies, actually". He then said "did you pack them carefully?" It took awhile before I was even able to respond. LOL I kpet wanting so bad to say "well NOOOOOO....I just threw them in the box. Is that alright?" LOL

Hope they arrive safe and sound.

GPN!! Got Eggs??? Arrived this morning! Set this morning!

Man was that a neat packing job. I would have never thought to put them in an accessory box. That is COOL! Check this out guys!

Well I knew that had to get there safe and I knew I could not go in the POST OFFICE TO SEE them off so I had to pack 'em safe! When my momma went in to mail'em off the POST Master asked if it was fraglie Momma said yes they are eggs in therem POST Master " EGGS, WHY?" momma calmly said I had "sold them" I told her I did not but any way and that I had gotten some in the Mail the week before from TX, so I hope they do well, other POST office work asked "You eat'em" Momma said again NO she gonna hatch'em. When I asked months ago about shipping eggs they looked at me funny!! But I Know they have received Chicks their because I was there when the lady pick'em up!! oh well I guess they will watch more carefully now!!
