so out of 6 coturnix eggs 3 hatched and out of 9 button eggs 3 hatched..... are you still waiting on a few to see if they hatch? if so let me know how many total you get. and I guess that that isnt to bad of a hatch rate... seeing as they had to travel so far.....and in winter to boot!! I am so happy for ya!

Well no laughing!!! A friend of mine was throwing out some old particle board dressers. I snatched them up and DH is going to build a screen top for them. THAT is where they will be housed. Also the Ag instructor has a normal brooder that we can use. Then of course, we have the good old rubbermaid brooders I have used before!
We only have to keep them for a week because the ffa kids will take some and the rest will be sold the following weekend after they hatch. So 4-5 days max!
