FFA hatching!! Quail are reproducing! WOOT!!!

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear more about this project. We will be setting our own eggs in school after spring break, so this was sort of a test to see if my eggs would be useful for that, or if we need to order. We have decided to do both.
Maybe the remaining eggs will show what we wanted to know anyway.
Thank You for taking on this important learning experience.

I boiled 5 tonight, to eat!!

Sorry they did not hatch!! Maybe we can get some going my next year when you do it again! hehehe GPN

Yes, that would be fun!

I did open up the Alaskan buttons that did not hatch, they were trying just something made them quit. The courtnix that did not hatch from Alaska looked fertile but did not progress much

The courtnix from Pennsylvania, looked fertile but did not do much, I am wondering if they got shook up on the way here and mr whitey just had more umph.

Question for you both. How come some of the courtnix and also the buttons were aqua blue colored inside the egg while others were just white. COOL Color!

Just wanted to send you some pics so you know what to look for of mine when they hatch out-
sending very positive hatching vibes for the project!!
Yes, I hatched these all out just to make sure the kids would get a good hatch from us!!
(which is really mother henny of me)

HOOO BOY!!! they are cute, I want them to hatch now now now. Thanks for the pullet vs cockrell advice, I did not know that!

DD wants the cuckoo marans. I guess the ag instructor is going to have the kids buy whatever they want at a reduced price of course, then sell the rest! SOOOO DD needs to save up her money! LOL.

I would keep them all if I had room LOL! They are all so cute!
