Fibro OE project

Is there a reason not to start with a Cream Legbar and breed toward what you want?

I think McMurray's "Whiting True Greens" have single combs and the blue egg gene, so that would be another place you could get the linkage of blue egg and not-pea comb.
I don't like the color and I already have my cross birds I'll be using. We will see if I get any single comb birds from it. As the project is Long-tailed EE I'm using Phoenix and Ameraucana. If I get it as a by product of this project so much the better.

how's this project going? I have an fibro olive egger with a straight comb. her eggs are blue on the inside and olive on the outside.
Last picture is one of her hatch mates, with a pea comb. 020.jpeg 025.jpeg 026.jpeg

I have 6 grow outs for the Crested EE project right now.

Long Tailed EE are currently on hold.

Have a mess of Ameraucana chicks that just hatched. Whites, Chocolates, project colors and Silvers. Twenty seven in all.
