Nestled on the coast of California, four chickens lead a simple existence—until one of the chickens, Rubina, utilizes her reading and writing abilities for a seemingly innocent cause. Their mundane lives are transformed. Along with Rubi’s three sisters - Sunshine, Matilda, and Lucy, the four create mayhem in the chicken coop and their family's household. The resulting chaos, not to mention all of the package deliveries, brings unforeseen consequences. When blame lands on innocent family members, the hens finally realize their antics have taken them too far - way too far.
