Field trip

kid #3 wanted a new fish so off to Petco we went. Of course, you can't go to a Petco without Chuck and Buck. Spent some time cruising the fish tanks so the ducks could look at all the fish. On the way home we stopped at Starbucks and went through the drive thru. I order.... pull up to the window.

Young lady flings the window open, "Your total will be $5 and holysh*tdidyouknowyouhaveducksinyourcar?"

The look of confusion when you respond, "Hot damn! Where did they come from?" on her face was priceless.

A friend of mine had chickens, ducks and turkeys in the city. When she went to the bank, the teller wouldn't wait on her till she went home and brought her turkeys back to the bank.

What a cute picture!
Yes people look strange at you when you're traveling with ducks. On the way back home from a vet visit last summer i had to stop aside a sheriff's car with Limpy sitting in a plastic box on the passenger seat. He looked at the officer, the officer looked at him, Limpy rasped (we both had the windows down) and the sheriff was so puzzled that he almost forgot to drive off when the light went green. I was totally expecting to be pulled over, but nothing…

Lol! Once I rode one of my mules down the road. People gaped at me including a police officer it was hilarious!
