Hi I got 4 bantams today. I had to pick them up at night fall to put them in their coop cos they'd all huddled in a corner on the ground. Three of them let me pick them up chirping away peacefully but my little brown Pekin called 'Pip' started trying to bite me. It didnt wound me cos shes just a little thing but she was really going for it! I noticed in the day as well the other chickens were easier to get hold of but 'Pip' skipped and flapped insanely. I guess this is normal, should I avoid trying to pick her up because of how distressed she gets or do it more often to try and tame her up?
