I sell occasionally when I'm begged. I'm waiting till I can get them improved to the point that they all come out reliably like the standard. Then I'll actively sell them.
I'm only getting about 1/3 of the hatches come out nearly perfect. With such a small US gene pool one has to be diligent. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
I was set back a year in the program when I got a letter from city hall that I had a month to dispose of all my chicken.
We fought city hall and won. Those of us that had chickens could basically continue to do what we had been doing.
They didn't even know anyone in the city had chickens till there was an article about me in the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
