Fight or frostbite?

Hi all. I went out to give the girls scratch this morning and was horrified by what I saw. One girl has a large, nasty wound/scab on the back of her comb. A couple others also have smaller black spots/scabs. I am guessing this is due to pecking/fights but I've never witnessed fights between my girls. I don't really think it's frostbite since I live in Arizona, though we've had some unfavorable weather recently. I don't think it's dropped below freezing, though. All the girls are eating and moving around and otherwise seem okay.

Anyway, I'm hoping I can get some help diagnosing the issue and advice for what to do going forward. Here's a link to photos:

Thank you, I thought much the same. Is there anything I should do to help the healings?
I usually leave those types of pecking injuries alone unless I notice one that seems like it’s in need of attention. I would observe your flock, and as long as nobody is getting chased down and feather plucked I would let them be. Combs heal very well on their own; I would just watch for repeated pecking of the same area. If one does get bad, you can gently clean the blood away and apply Neosporin (without painkiller) to help prevent infection.
