my chickens are fighting and we can't get it to stop
How long have they been together? Your signature line says you have mostly pullets. They may be just growing up and establishing a pecking order. That's always scary looking, but you have to let them work things out on their own. If you step in and interfere they'll just save the wars for later.
Another thought -- do they have space enough to spread out and get away from each other now and again?
I took my bullies out including my rooster and put them in another
large run that i have. I kept them seperated for about 3 weeks,
allowing both pens to take turns getting out each day and they
would go visit each other...after the 3 weeks i put the 3 bullies
back in and there was a lot less bullying. There was a little bit
of fussing and now they are living in perfect harmony. You will
see a little hen pecking from time to time but nothing severe.
Make sure they are all the same size before puttiing them together.
