While cleaning the water contains, I heard the chickens and cat going crazy. My cat goes in the runs with me without any trouble in the past. By the time I got to the coop, Buddy (the cat) came running from the coop with a mouse in his mouth. Close behind was four or five hens all trying to take the mouse from him. By this time the whole yard was up in arms. It was like Buddy was just another chicken with a prize everyong wanted. I got to the gate and opened it for Buddy, who left the yard with the chickens trying to follow. Looks like I will have to go to the bait shop for some crickets to keep peace in the animal world today.
