Hi! I have two silkie chicks both of which are around 11 weeks old. However, since the beginning they have been fighting with each other here and there. We haven't sexed them yet, but we suspect they are two males. Before they fight, one of them initiates and they both level, crouched with their heads bobbing. Today, I saw them engage in an especially violent fight where both of them were pecking each other and one of them took out some of its feathers. I am really worried that one might kill the other one day or harm it beyond repair. The confusing thing is though they snuggle with each other when they sleep and they can't stand being apart. Does anyone have any insight/tips on this?

Sounds like they’re two dominant chickens trying to figure out who belongs where in the pecking order. But could you post some good pics of the two suspects so they can be determined to be male or female. Also, how many other chicks do you have?
