FIL diagnosed with lung cancer

My prayers are going out for you. I lost my 48 year old sister to lung cancer this past February...it's so hard to be without her. Just live every day to the fullest, and never stop showing how much you care...be strong. :aww

Depending on the stage of the Cancer, it may be treatable. My MIlL had 2 of 3 lobes removed from one side of her lungs, and went through several months of Chemo, and is cancer free and doing quite well. She was on oxygen for a few months while recovering, but she doesn't even have to have it anymore. Please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.. I hope his prognosis is good.

OH OH OH, I have not known someone to survive lung cancer. I'm SO thrilled to know there are survivors. Thanks for letting me know. I still don't know details, but I'm hoping for the best. That would be such a blessing. It's after midnight and I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. This has given me enough comfort to rest. Thanks to all of you.

Kirk talked with his dad. He had chemo friday and yesterday. Ya'll, it just may be possible that this has been caught early. He had gone in for a physical for work and that is how they found the cancer. We still don't know yet though. Please continue to remember him. Thanks to all of you......
