Filled the 'bator today Feb 25

We set 12 BBSO and 3 Lavs today in our homemade incubator. We made some improvements to the temp. control system and it's working much better. I'll candle next Saturday.

I just set 12 bantam eggs today...they were shipped eggs, which I swore I wouldn't do because I've had bad experience on shipped eggs.

I filled my bator with 39 silkie eggs hoping to get some to hatch... good luck to you both.

The last Silkie I had was from an egg I incubated. I got rid of the Silkies but found an egg after I sold them so I threw it in the incubator and sure enough it hatched. A pretty blue hen. I had her up until she had just started laying and then something got her. Have no clue as to what, she was just gone.
