My baby is all grown up now LOL She is in the club

She got to go out on her first trail ride down the road and through the woods to the creek. She LOVED it!! This has been the most active little foal I have ever had - I'm so in love LOL I still haven't officially named her yet but I have been calling her Dixie. She is 3 months old.

When I was at that creek - 2 miles down a dirtroad and about a 1/2 mile through the woods down to the creek - I jumped off my mare and had to make a bush the 'ladies room' lol but I didn't even throw the reins back over my mares head and what does she do???? Steps on the reins and breaks her whole bridle in half! Snaps went a flying. So, there I was at dark a little piece from the house!! Yikes....Good think my mar will ride without a bridle!

Just tied the reins around her neck and we made it home. My DH asked what took so long, he thought I was just going to be gone a minute....I told him my horse broke down on the side of the creek LOL

He wants me to put her up for sale....but this little girl is gonna go into reining or team roping! She has so much energy I can't wait to put it to good use!!! I have never in my life seen a foal with as much zest for life and the energy she has!!! It is amazing! Like God special designed this foal just for me

Good for you, getting her exposed so young. She'll be a great trail horse when she gets older.
