So Glad to hear she's doing fine now, I just found this thread. I know the feeling all to well we had a mare last year with a twisted colon had a vet out everyday for a week, doing drinches, givin fluids and pain meds. We finally took her to VA tech and thats where we found out her colon had twisted. My choices was to have her put down, $5500.oo+ surgery or take her home and pray for the best. So we took her home and prayed for the best. From the moment she walked off the trailer when we got home she was fine! something about the ride back and "PRAYERS" worked!! We no longer have her but she's in a loving home doin wonderful.
