Filtering water for my flock?

knudsonclucks, how about harvesting rainwater to supply their drinking water? It's not illegal in Texas, and you wouldn't need a huge storage tank to provide for their needs.

Just a thought.

nope i said what i meant its an RV filter like you use for your camper they are fairly cheap and just screw onto a water hose its the simple easy way to filter their water

That does it, now I am definitely certain that every politician in every area needs to be canned.

Been that way for some time now, in some states. Others, not so much.

Now you know one of the reasons I live in Southeast Asia, and have for almost fifteen years, full time. When we built our solar array, we didn't have to deal with permits, inspections and approvals. When we set up our rainwater harvesting, we didn't have to check local laws to see if it were legal to do so. Naturally, we built them both so they would be safe and would perform as they should, though. I want my family safe, of course. Very little government interference at all, here.
