Hi, New to forum and pretty new to Pekin Ducks. I have four ducks and right now they go in my horse trailer at night and out in pen during the day. We have a "kiddie" pool for them that we empty and refill every day. Holy Moly. What is recommended for small ponds (filtration) for these guys? Is there a special pump that people use for Ducks? or- what works best for you??? Please respond and send pictures if you are able. AND- what do you do for water in the Michigan Winters? Thanks in advance!!

I have posted advice for people with similar Questions. Only difference is they had a larger pond or pool. I suggested to use a swimming pool filter. It would be an overkill for small pool that you tip and empty daily.
Here is a pix of the filter.

If you dug out an in ground pond that would hold lets say 300 gallons, then it is worth filtering the water.
In the winter, your ducks will just have to forfeit their swimming desires until spring.
WISHING YOU BEST AND
