My guess is that it is part of a good breeding practice. Not all the lav orps around here can have Lester for their father or grandfather. Besides Lucas would get jealous! Just my opinion. Cannot wait to hear what Jody says.
Plus, Lester is so well known, I don't think he would be sold because some people might think they are getting eggs based on Jody and Charlie's standards and frankly, people do not follow the same breeding practice because every person is different.

I agree with Majestic. Trust me....I would go to any price for lester and his girls but to keep with the project I think Jody may not want to sell...though i will be watching to see if she says yes (bank on hold)

Maybe the ladies have thrown Lester out of the coop cause they feel the need for a vacation. I know, I know, they can vacation at your house, lol.

They could come over any time for an extended vacation. I am in the middle of my renovation for the Lav's i should be getting tomorrow

so it is plush beyond plush. I almost would live there. I think my DH thinks that if i finally get these, i will quit for the season. Little does he know i am waiting for the gold laced orp project to offer eggs!
