I bought an incubator last month so I could raise quail. But we got this idea that it would be good to practice on chicken eggs. My husband brought me home 24 from his freind.
I dropped one the day we set them. After that it was pretty easy.
final tally was ! broke, ! got a pin hole in it, 7 were not fetile. I was unable to see that till last night., 7 became what look to be healthy little fluff balls. 7 died at various stages during the Incubation. Most of them right before lock down.
Yesterday they passed the float test. but when recandled it is obvious they died quite awhile ago.
All in all it't been fun And I learned alot. Mostly I need some thing better to candle with, And I'll Be working on that soon because I have quail eggs coming next week.
