Finally!! 1st Egg! - update.. She was sneaky!

My welshies are 1 and 2 months younger than my campbells, My first one should kick in the same time as the layer hybrids, and then my last two the month after. I've still got a pair of swede drakes "mixing it up" on the singles scene that haven't made it to the block yet. It's like a swingers resort when they get out of the pen... only my youngest girls and the gander aren't in on the shenanigans. They're all getting into the in ground pool now that there's no chemicals in it for winter... I'm going to have to drain that thing come spring...

Mine are 6 months old now! im waiting for eggs!!! UUURRRGGG!!!!!!!!!!! my WH drake is very "interested" in one of the girls, the other hens want attention, but not getting much. lol. my older rouen drake keeps stopping my WH drake from doing anything with anyone! hes gonna have to go if he keeps it up. even through the fence! crazy drakes!

Lucky bums! Still no eggs and the weathers changed so it's freezing now! I set out a bucket of water for them to play in and it freezes before I can herd them over to it! (that takes 15 min) I hate this weather!

Yeah, the Americans never understand what our winters are really like; they complain about the weather at -5C and that's as cold as it ever gets. Here, 4ft. of snow, -30C (and they don't even know how cold anything C is
