We got our first egg at 17 weeks, with an additional 2 coming the following week. We've been getting 3 everyday since and they have finally made it to a store bought large. The last 2 weeks we were getting 5 eggs every 2 days.. then a few days ago 5 everyday... yesterday and today we have 6!
The kids love hard boiling the small eggs.
You know, I hated the chickens we had when I was a kid/teen... but we are really enjoying these chickens, it's almost relaxing watching them scratch around in the evenings.
I think we'll get 4 more in the spring
