The eggs had poop on them & my mother in law is eating them so.... As much as i would like to give her......oh never mind. Yes i washed the eggs

Surely she is not eating the shell??? Just joking, I get it!! I don't wash my eggs and I have a egg business and sell them. If they have poop on them I use them myself. If they have a little, very little mud or dirt on them, I leave it and just tell the customers. In 3 years no one cares!

Fine to wash them, but let them fully dry before putting in a carton, then put them in the fridge.
