Hi, all! I am a long time viewer of Back Yard Chickens but never took the time to be a member. I have nine lovely ladies in Naperville, IL. We previously had a flock of hens and three roosters in Rhode Island. I let my girls free range, so we have all kinds of fun and frustration with the mischief they cause. I'm looking forward to learning more through this site.

Cute picture!
I got tired of all the mischief and mayhem my flock was causing so they got a new home inside about 1/4-1/3 acre electrified poultry net. I do not miss all the little gifts they left all over the deck and porch, my eaten and scratched up flower pots and squashed perennial beds. Not to mention spending hours herding the horde back home after they crossed the road and went into the neighbors fox infested woods.
