This morning it's 14 degrees with 1" of snow on the ground and raccoon tracks on top of the Ameraucanas' roof. Snow's at least good for something! Now I know who's been around, even though I knew anyway.
I have the other Blue Orp/Buff Brahma and one pure Blue Orp (Skye's) pipped this morning. The first pip is a little larger. Day 21 starts after noon today.

Corey, there are so many coons, possums, stray dogs, coyotes, foxes, you name it, we'd be trapping till doomsday. They're shut up tight before dark, so nothing can get them. I found a track inside their covered run-looks like a weasel, too small for a coon. Never saw a weasel here, but just because you dont see them, doesn't mean they aren't there.
Wish the others would pip. I'd have never guessed a Blue Orp would beat out Lexie's eggs. Caroline's, I figured would pip first!

Me, too. I've seen every one of them shake now, and the pips on the three are getting slightly larger. Here is the scene today at the Chicken Asylum. Caroline and Miranda came out when they saw me, but Miranda kept trying to stand on one foot, so they went right back in and I locked them all inside to keep warm. Now, I'm just inside watching the bator:
