after searching for months for a tom for my ladies i finally found one (living just up the road from me...doh!!)
so i would like to introduce Tommy...my Ronquieres tom. He's nearly 8 months old and raring to go!

is it normal that he flirts with the ladies but hasnt tried mounting one yet? the girls are 7 months old so should be of breeding age right? they just run away from him!
 
Excuse my ignorance here, I don't really know any thing about turkeys, but what's going on with his beak? It looks like there is a fleshy protrusion hanging off the tip? I assume that's normal, but I kind of don't get it.

That is his " SNOOD" he can retract it ir relax it. If it hanging down like in the picture he's content-happy-not stressed, if it retracted he's the opposite. After they get a certain size/age he can't
