Hi there,
I share my wet world with my somewhat soggy "girls and Boys" in FNQ, not that we seem to mind the wet it makes a change, and everything is so green. My girls are enjoying all the bugs I collect of the vegis so that works well - I can't let them pick them off themselves - they seem to get carried away and eat the vegis - I could leave the bugs to do that! (lol) in the first place.
My girls are a mixed mob and all a bit feral, and not shy about letting you know what they want and when they would like it, three of them gang up to sneak out at every opportunity I love them all they are very cheeky - I definitely have a couple of black australups and a pekin ( called Caramello) as for the others, they have come from "broken homes" and have been back yards breed so a bit of this and that but they are happy and that's all the counts - Romeo is their Rooster and he is a silky cross - I was not going to have a Rooster as I don't breed ( too many hawks, pythons as well as the Goannas) but a friend have 5 hatch and well.... the rest is history. He is stunning and a gentleman - actually the truth be told he gets pushed around by the "Girls" most of the time so he is Romeo by name only!
got to run in between rain showers!
