Finally... after almost 10 long years

I am a chook mama!!!! I cannot even believe they are in my living room peeping as I type.



We got 4 speckled sussex and 2 "red" pullets. They are so stinking adorable! And as you can see, my kiddos love them!

Congratulations. I have been pointing out to several people that you should put marbles or small rocks in the base of your waterer for about the first week. If the chicks fall asleep while they are drinking they can drown. The rocks or marbles prevent their head from going underwater.

I agree. They are precious. I love to watch chicks grow. That's probably why I became a hatch-a-holic.
