My Delaware, Ghost, FINALLY laid a perfect egg. Still very small, but better than those shell less things she's been laying!!!!! Yay!!!

Question, my RIR who was housebound for 10 days, was laying nice good sized eggs after a couple of small ones. She's back in the coop, but she's laying small eggs again. Stress finding her place in the pecking order again? It was a rough first day, but she's buds with the other RIR now and the other 2 aren't attacking her anymore. Can stress do that?

Separating her from everyone then putting her back together with them might/will cause a lot of stress. Every new location that a chicken is moved to will be very hard and stressful for them. May I ask why she was separated?

She had a broken beak. It was surgically repaired, pinned and has an acrylic shell on it which will grow out. The vet wanted her isolated while she was on 10 days of antibiotics. Through all that, she was laying a nice sized egg each day. Her first eggs in fact. The first 2 were small, but then they were normal sized until she went back to the coop/run. We can't eat them either
