My Ayam Cemani eggs have finally arrived!! This is actually the second batch I ordered, the first batch is MIA with the post office....still (it was supposed to arrive almost 2 weeks ago)

I ordered these and had a moment of panic at first when they were late but they arrived a day later so all is well.

Now to let them rest a bit and then get them in the incubator!!

Yay!!!! I'm so glad they finally came.
Wow..... that is horrible that your eggs are still lost. Has the seller or the PO refunded you for them?
These eggs look great, fingers crossed!!! What kind of incubator are you using?

So far no refunds yet, thankfully the order was only for 3 eggs so not too terrible but frustrating thats for sure

Awesome! Ayam Cemani are seriously cool birds and in my experience, fantastic foragers. Good Luck!

I can't wait to get them! We are hoping to get a breeding set up going

Oh, ok.
Have you test ran the NR yet, or have you used it before?

We have had it running about 3 weeks before we put eggs in it, we had two temp/humidity gauges in there to monitor.
Good. Did you calibrate the thermometer and salt test the hydrometer?

So excited the eggs have been in the incubator for 5 days. Candled them last night and 6 of the 8 are growing! Giving the other two a couple more days just to be sure before pulling them. One I am pretty sure isn't fertile and the other I can't tell.

The seller of the other eggs did offer to resend my first order since is never arrived. So next payday I'll be sending her some money for shipping. The timing should work out pretty well by the time I pay her and she ships these eggs should be hatching.

I didn't do a salt test but I have two independent humidity gauges in there

Hold up, these eggs are not from the original seller? And the original seller is asking for more money to reship eggs that never arrived? I know shipping costs are not cheap. Are you sure this is a reputable place and you are not getting scammed- have you used them before?
