Finally! Ayam Cemani eggs are here!!

Hold up, these eggs are not from the original seller? And the original seller is asking for more money to reship eggs that never arrived? I know shipping costs are not cheap. Are you sure this is a reputable place and you are not getting scammed- have you used them before?

So I ordered two different orders. The first order that got lost in the mail they asked me to pay for shipping but they'll replace the eggs. Based on what I can see and people I've talked to they have a good reptuation. They're only charging me $11 for the shipping this time around.

The eggs in the photo are from an entirely separate seller.

Ok good. I’m just naturally cautious when dealing with people that are not face to face, too many unscrupulous people out there. And selling premium rare breed eggs that never arrive would be an easy scam to pull off.

Agreed, I paid with paypal so worst case I can always dispute the transaction. This order was a very small order anyways (only 3 eggs, that's all she had at the time) so my thoughts were even if I were to get scammed it wasn't a huge amount of money. It will suck if I get scammed but I really don't think that's the case with this one :)

Just wanted to post an update! 6 of the 8 Ayam Cemani eggs are still going strong! Two never developed at all so I tossed them today.

A little later this week I'm going to get with the original seller to get replacement eggs sent and I may order a few more off other breeders. Hopefully that'll give me enough hens to get a good breeding project going <3

Cool thing about having a crazy breed like this is I have a few friends looking for a couple roos and they're wanting to each buy 1-2 and take off my hands if needed.

Awesome! What day are they now? I would take them too if I lived closer. 😂
Super jealous! Cemanis are sooo stunning.
