finally!!! babies are here!!

My mallard hen FINALLY hatched 9 ducklings yesterday. she made the nest and laid the eggs outside the coop, we put her and the babies in with the chickens. our dog and cat and my son were eye balling them. is it a good idea? Or should i bring the babies in the house?
