Hey all
After reading until my eye hurt I've decided to introduce myself.
I'm an auto mechanic/ high school teacher with an interest in self sufficiency and minimalism. As a result of a move to a small property last year my first project was the building of a coop and finding my first group of girls. I managed to make my start with Orpingtons- I have two lavenders, a blue, a buff, a black, and a mottled. A year later I added two leghorns, two barnyard mix browns, a red Orpington and an unknown "rare" breed Roo. My wife is tired of listening to me talk about my chickens and wishes I'd spend more time working on my Racecars but chickens are cheaper haha! Glad to be here and look forward to reading all the great information on this site!
Cheers, Sean
