Finally decided what im getting

Well I went to my feedstore the other day and was talking to the owner about quail.He said that some other people are ordering from him and asked me if I was intrested.I asked the minimum and he said 30 quail do I told him ill think about it ohh yeah and I also asked him what kinda and he said brown coturnix.I think it will be easier to order from him,actually be able to pick out my own chicks and make sure non are sick and bring them home safely.Hwo does this sound?Im still going to get a incuabator but I wont have to worry about old eggs.Ill butcher most of them males exept 3 or so and use them for breeding,also I can pick out my own stock for breeding which means the biggest quail and also the quietest males

Awesome Pringle...but you sure he is getting Jumbo browns not REG browns? There are two sizes of Brown Coturnix. The wild aka normal which are a relatively small bird..but quiet the layer. Then there are Jumbo browns which lay a TON and get to a good table size. Either way I'm sure you will be happy but since you said you want to get BIG birds starting with what me and many other breeders have already bred as far as JBs is your best bet.
