Finally done!! Well almost!!!!!

Started thinking about chickens in 2010!! After a few years and putting some boards together here and and there on the weekends the same coop is finally done for the most part. Have to make plexiglas window insert. Then enclose run. I'm using the lower section of the kids swing set for an enclosed run when there not roaming around the backyard. Here are some pics!

Rubber shower pan liner from home depot. Sold by the foot. I covered the whole nesting box roof then shingled over that. I added the visible piece for extra protection! Going to add another 1x3 along with a bead of silicon to give it a more finished look. Sent from my Samsung Note 2

Finished the tunnel from the coop to enclosed run under the swing set! Next thing is to wire lighting and solar panel..

We did something similar to waterproof the top of our nesting box and used rubber pond liner bought by the foot at our local garden store. Works perfectly! Love that you are utilizing the lower level of the play structure!
