) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
swe started with six, and I snuck and brought home 3 more,..so 9 now and I am getting a hankering for 3 silkies now,..they really are like chips, you just can't stop with one.
I also have 11 ducks,..accidentally. I just wanted 3, but was talked into taking 6, then my son brought home 5 as a rescue.
(3) What breeds do you have?
As for the chicks,..I dunno,..3 that will look like zebras,..2 that are yellow now but are supposed to be white in the end,...and 4 that are petty earthy colors,.lots of brown. I am such an expert
Ducks, 6 are mutts pekin, runne, rouen and 5 are mallards, s cute and messy.

googled and fell in love, what great people and info here.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I make natural creams without preservatives and the yucky stuff with essential oils..natural cosmetics, mineral makeup, gardening, aromatherapy, decorating, love metaphysics...I could go on forever,..in other words short attention span so I needs lots of things to keep my monkey mind busy.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Well I am Married with children My husband is just great, because he loves me inspite of my eccentricities, or maybe because of them, who can say. We have five children ages 7 to 24,..ok my 7 year old was our wonderful surprise, because I was so complete in the brooding area. We have 2 dogs an aussie shepard/golden retriever mix named Bailey who is just a love bug and a basset hound named bella, who appears to be a love bug but when it comes to food,..she can give you a run for the money. One turtle named,..Bob,...and a bird my mom pawned off on me named Jake and of course the lot of chicks and ducks.
I am a realtor, I have a background in interior design, I still sell some of my bath and beauty product line called venusia naturals to the obsessed who harrass me until I make new batches for them. I also can say I am absolutely never ever ever bored. Finally I am really glad to have found this site, because it really gives me so much food for thought.
