I would definitely add ventilation, and I would not lock them in a coop that size. They will figure it all out by themselves, just give them some time. You may have to put them in if you lock them in the coop at night, though. Try to put them in after sunset but before dark so they can find the roost. You can use a light if you wish but I think it will work if you just put them in and let them figure it all out.
Locking them in a coop 24/7 can be necessary at times for free range chickens, so they can find their way home, but there is no need when they are confined to a run, that I can see.
