So we had a 4x8 coop/run. We got more chickens so we made an extra coop in it and then a detached 8x12 run. Well we got tired of moving both the coop and the run, so I built a coop onto the run. The coop is 4x8 and off the ground by 3 feet. It has a door to access the nest boxes that are on the inside. It weathered our severe weather we had a couple of days ago, so the chickens got to move in today. There are 6 wheels and it moves easily with two people and I think I could probably move it myself. I plan on moving it once a week.

Here it is:

My husband put the wheels on today. That is one of my daughters "helping" (The back door is open here, there is nothing hanging out.) I painted the wrong side of the door, but I think I will paint it white.

I think I will paint the inside of the pop door white too, but later lol)

Here are some of the girls checking out the new nest boxes. I think they choose their favorites. At one point there were three hens sitting!

We lock them in the coop at night (it has a lock) and the dogs are in the yard. They keep out all the predators (but themselves
