Finally finished!!

I am finally finished with the new coop. It took my about 3 months. Just finished painting this week and just finished up the run. It's 12x8 and the run is 16x16. I am hoping to let them free range as much as I can unless I start losing birds. Nothing real fancy but the best thing I have had this far lol.

After having chickens for about 4 years now and having two smaller coops I learned more about what not to do than anything else lol. I tried to take that knowledge and use in in the design phase.

I just moved to my current location. I did have around 8 laying hens I sold to make the move easier. However, I do still have a couple trios of OEGBs and I have 2 dozen Barred Rock eggs in the bator set to hatch the day after Christmas which happens to be my birthday lol. I figure using the rule of thumb I could keep about 15 hens comfortably.
