Finally first egg

I was totally surprised I had almost given up and there it was!!!!!! Not sure which one of my 4 laid it but they sure have been noisy ever since. Started on 12/29 and have had an egg every day since. It seems weird to eat it? My family thinks we are crazy and offered to eat the first eggs for us, lol......It really took a long time, my girls were born the beginning of April!

Are your Ameracaunas laying? Mine were hatched Sept. 1.

No, I think it is one of the orps laying and my Americauna is blind and she was actually born last March?
