Finally found something my girls would eat

No lol! My bowl is shallow and huge, three out of the seven can actually get in and scratch around. Can't spill what's already down. ;) At the end of the day i add a little water to the dusty small stuff and the less desirable grains and BOOM its a gourmet meal.
Forgive me if you already know this, but mixing scratch with crumble feed is a good way to end up with all of the latter on the floor after the chickens have shoveled it out to get to the scratch. At least that's been my experience...

"Our formula consists of Corn, Milo, Oats, Wheat, ( Flax Seed, Hemp Seed, or Pumpkin Seed ), Oyster Shell, Kelp & our proprietary vitamin mix full of Vitamin's A, D3, B12, and E"

So basically scratch with a designer seed, oyster shell, kelp and vitamins. I love kelp and it is very good for animals, but I won't eat it anymore because Fukushima dumped, and is still leaking, a lot of radioactivity into the Pacific.

From your photo, it looks like what you have is basically a scratch mix which is in no way a complete feed. Be sure that you check the required label for the nutrients included such as % protein, fat, and others. Just because your chickens like it does not mean it is a complete or healthy feed.

I personally feed my 3 bantam this feed, we stick mainly to flax as they seem to like it best and I trust the health benefits of the seed. I've had my flock for about 2 years and I bought them for my kids instead of dog because they are easy to maintain and the kids can play with them when they want and we don't have to constantly come home to let them out. We tried all the major feeds such as Kalmbach ( this stuff just smelled bad ), Coyote Creek, Scratch and Peck and the only one they even remotely liked of those was the Scratch and Peck but they mainly just picked out the peas and left the rest.

I get what you are saying but we did the research before hand there is more then enough protein in the bag and yeah, it might be a little high in fat but my hens lay more eggs and are more active on the Chicken Chew because they literally just kicked the other feed around. We had to waist a ton money on grub worms and treats just so they would eat something ( Grubbly flies are great btw ).

I'm going to say some good and bad things, nothing negative just truthful. Hemp is an awesome protein source, but you need maybe three times the amount I'm seeing in that handful. You could make that grain mix yourself for less than half what they're charging and still have more hemp content. Your girls love it because no doubt it's delicious, but that can't be an incisive feed maybe a mix in to fluff up a staple crumble diet but as is it's a treat a vitamin fortified treat. I think that site counts on you being new to chickens and not knowing the nutritional needs of them or the extent they're overvalueing their products .:)

I agree with the hemp seed, we personally buy the flax seed version. I tried to make my own but the scratch I was buying was full of weevils ( they always popped up in our 50 pound bags a week after bought it ) which I know is not a that bad of thing, but we store in our garage and having bugs running around the garage is just gives me the creeps. The flax seed alone $4.99 a pound and the hemp seed $5.99 a pound on Nuts.com and I could barley find larger then a 5oz bag at the store so..... Honestly though, we have them as pets and I'm not one to spend the time to make my own feed so it's easier for us just to have it delivered. Unless I want to buy in bulk this was a good option for us and we don't have to drive the feed store which is about an hour there and back.

Chickens are kind of like kids. They like the junk food and don’t like the healthy stuff very much. But if all they have is healthy they will eventually eat it. They will not starve themselves. But they will hold out quite a long time for the good stuff :) but just like kids it is your duty to make sure they get healthy stuff.
It seems like delivery is very important to you, I can relate because I cannot drive so delivery is nice when you can get it. Do you live in an area that you can get Azure standard delivery? They have several different types of food that’s good for chickens. I get scratch and pack, big sky, and sometimes the Modesto from them. And just my opinion, but any of the food that is not a crumble or a pellet should be fed to them wet or fermented. Otherwise all the good powdery vitamins etc. usually go to waste.
This food that your chickens love so much could actually be used as treats. It’s always handy to have something you know they love in case you need to get them in or come to you quickly for some reason etc.

Hey thanks for all this info. We tried a crumble feed we bought off Amazon but they wouldn't touch it. Maybe we'll try mixing this in with something else. What do you recommend that delivers?

Uhhm, they do not have to like it. They just need to eat it, and they will given no other choice. I tell my kids the same thing btw..
