Finally got an egg!

I have seven 22 week old hens. Today we received our first egg. Not sure from who. Should I get the girls transitioned to layer feed, if only one is laying? Also curious when to start oyster shells.... thanks much

You can start oyster shell at any time as they will only eat it if they need calcium. Some feed a general flock feed at all times with oyster shell on the side. If you want, you can gradually start a transition to layer feed.
