Ok here goes for a nearly complete start to finish set. I seem to have stopped taking pictures at the very end...guess I will have to get a couple tomorrow...
Started with a basic 2x4 frame covered in hardware cloth, I spaced the floor joists 2' on center, so I had to add some additional support
Next, some basic 3' tall walls. I ripped the 2x4 in half to save some weight.
Used one sheet of plywood for the siding. I went with an over 4'x6' design so I could use a single sheet for siding. I ripped them to 2' so the is 1' of "window" covered in hwc.
Some rafters added on. Went with a 8-12 pitch because that seemed work out to a decent amount of overhang with the roof material I was going to use. A 6-12 may have been preferable for a little bit more overhang though. Always next time right?
Added nailer strips for the roof.
And this is where is seem to have stopped taking pictures. I got the 6' dog ear cedar fence planks from home depot and cut them in half. I then nailed them down in an overlapping pattern. I used the same material for the front door/ramp. As you can see the door is hinged on the bottom so it opens to become the ramp into the house. You can also see on the back doors not attached yet leaning on the house.
