Hello and welcome! Congratulations on your new flock. Your chicks are adorable! I waited a long time before I took the plunge and got chickens... it was definitely worth the wait! I hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours. I'm also a nurse with two young children. I love involving my children in the chick-rearing process and the daily chores. I don't think I've saved any money (ok, I KNOW I haven't!) but it's so rewarding in so many other ways.
