So after all the snow and mud went away we were able to get up one set of our call duck breeding pens this past week. My husband is working on the other ones and should have them done by the middle of this week. I finally got some pics yesterday of the one that is up to post. It's not the greatest, but not bad for the first time around! The post still need painted and some areas still need touched up. I love the water draining system it makes draining them so simple!

Very nice..... my husband is also building some new pens along the woods so there isn't a muddy mess. Have you figured out a easy way to fill up all the water pans? I like your drain system. Oh, one more question.....are those the water pans from Lowes? We have to put a rock in the water pan to help the ducks get out because some have drowned in the water....have you had that problem?

The way that it is set up you just fill the one tub and it then fills all of them. All the tubs are level with respect to each other and all connected through the central line, so the water level is the same through the whole setup. We have a ball valve at the end of the main pipe that acts as the main stopper. They are the cement mixing tubs, but we did not get them at Lowes we ordered them online, and had them shipped to our local do-it-best hardware store. These ones are more sturdy than the ones at lowes but not as expensive as the ones at tsc. I think they ran about $7 apiece. I just put the ducks in yesterday and they seem to have no problem getting in or out, but I will probably have to add a rock or something just in case.
