We do actually have about 6 cages (including this one!) But most were cheap ebay finds, 1 was already on the property (whilst extremely sturdy it doesn't leave a lot to the imagination), 1 is an old shed with meshed sides, and 1 was our first attempt at a coop build (we learnt a lot but mostly what not to do
).
But this one we found on marketplace a little while back, totally imagining it'd be out of our price range. We scored it - way cheaper than it was worth!
All kept mostly together for the trek home so we only had to reattach the walls, roof, and other bits & pieces. The custom feeder drinker, roost bars & nest boxes are just perfect. I'm so happy! We have our big boy Angelo occupying the cage at the moment until his hens are big enough to join him. He's loving it.
