Finally got our first green egg from my 28 week old Ameraucana!

Maybe it is their Christmas spirit! They can't do red, but they can provide the green! It was a great present. I was so excited that I made another tromp through 8 inches of snow (in NC

) to take it next door to my parents house where my kids were so that they could see it.

I got my first green eggs today too! I'm so jazzed I can't stand it. I'm used to the blue & bluey green minty colored ones, but these are a definite olive green! WOOO HOOO!

I just got my second green egg. Was busy feeding and watering, shoveling snow and so on. Stuck it in my pocket absentmindedly and forgot all about it until I stepped back into the house. I now have a yellow pocket, ewww! What a waste of a beautiful green egg!
