Watched all your YT . You did a great job. I love the ramp highway! I'm glad you changed the nest boxes out too. The gutter is also very necessary for that sliding door. Glad you're here and I hope you have a great time with your flock. Hey did Coal stay. ?I just logged into this site for the first time in a long time, guess I've been a member for about 6 years or so.
This summer I finally got around to building a coop, run, and getting myself some chickens.
My progress can be seen in the playlist here:

My little flock is 2 Black Ameracauna, hen and rooster, and 3 Blue Laced Red Wyondote hens (yes, I can't spell chicken breeds)
The Americauna Hen (Becky) lays a nice blue egg every day.
The Reds have me a bit confused, they are younger and have just reached laying age. I get one brown and one blue egg a day, so either the Reds are just taking turns or only one is laying. Assuming one is just a bit more mature than the others. Still waiting for the day when I see 2 brown eggs on the same day.
Anyways, I'm back in this site again, and will be digging thru looking for more info and tips.
Glad to see this great resource is still alive and well.

Yes it does.I did have a good laugh at the ramp vid!. Glad coals owner found him. Does any bedding get in the "U" metal chanel of the sliding door?

The ramp of death has been changed to a more traditional doublelane onramp, which is working a whole lot better.
Thanks for checking out the videos
